On the Boardwalk
Character Illustration Series
On the Boardwalk is a self-initiated illustration series featuring summertime characters and figures enjoying their time on the beach. A new character was created every day for the month of June along with fellow artist Brad Chmielewski.
Below are the 15 characters I created for the project. All characters were illustrated on an iPad Pro using Apple Pencil, Adobe Photoshop Sketch, and some color color correction on Adobe Photoshop for desktop.
This project was a tremendous opportunity to practice a new style of character illustration. Each illustration was a new chance to practice lighting, posing, form, and color on a whole new subject.
